We are hosting an online Call of Duty MW3 4v4 Tournament on July 21. The price to enter will be $40 per team, and the winning team will take a minimum of $300 and a percentage of each teams entry fee. The more teams that enter, the bigger the prize. The tournament will consist of a best of three double elimination bracket played over Xbox Live. The game types that will be played are going to be the Gamebattle’s competitive game types. The map set will be customized for the New Generation Tournament. Rules are available here. Registration will begin on June 30 and will continue until July 18. From that date we will have all of the information for each team and the game-types will be available.
When registering we will need:
Names of each team member
Gamertags of each team member
Team Name
General location of team
Matches
Matches will be best two out of three’s for a win. Both teams will need to post the results of the game. If one of the two teams does not report within fifteen minutes of the game ending then that team will be given a loss. If there is any reason that the match cannot be played then the team captain’s should contact one of the admins. If there is any question about a match or a dispute about a match please contact an admin.
To report scores message your bracket’s admin. This will be posted July 20th.
Each team will need to either host or join their game lobby within 10 minutes of the round start. If your team does not join the lobby within the allotted time then you will forfeit the first game. Your team will still have the opportunity to participate in the match but you will be down in the round 1-0.
If the host drops or any player drops from the game then invite the player back and continue play. Within thirty seconds of the game starting if any player drops from the game the game is to be restarted with all players getting re-invited into the game. We will review all in game drops to detect any foul play.
Cheating
There will be absolutely no cheating allowed. If any player/team is caught cheating they will be banned from the tournament with no refund. Any case of cheating needs to be recorded and sent to an admin via file share.
Refunds
The last day to get a full refund will be July 20. The refund will be the full amount minus any and all transaction fees. No exceptions. After July 20, but before your team’s first match, you can receive a 75% refund minus any and all transaction fees. After your team has played it’s first match then there will be NO refund.
Replays
All of the replays need to be sent to a gamertag. The bracket admin’s gamertag will be posted before the tournament begins.
